crore compared to Rs. 1377.30 crore during the same period last
year registering an increase of 17.23 per cent

Price Index for Urban Non-manual Employess for May, 2006; Base
1984-85=100 :
The
All-India Consumer Price Index for Urban Non-Manual Employees
CPI(UNME) on base 1984-85=100, for the month of May,
2006 has been released by the Central Statistical Organization (CSO),
Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation together with
the indices for 59 selected urban centres in India

Pending
Court Cases :
The number of pending court cases in
the subordinate courts across the country at present is over two
crore twenty lakh. In the 21 high courts the number of pending
cases is thirty-five lakh
